Thank you Canada. For your inspiration, your secrets, your people, the little adventures and beautiful surprises. I’m back home now, strumming my guitar, thinking of you.

Proud to announce my first Toronto gig! So if you happen to be around, come and visit the wonderful Lomostore at Queenswest Ave #536. I’ll be playing an acoustic concert at 4pm this Saturday 30st of March. Also, the wonderful Piper Hayes will play her songs. Gonna be fun, promise.

Yes! I booked my ticket and I’ll be in Toronto, Canada for a while! Just to get on that wave and be inspired, find sparkles and little adventures…..also meeting up with some Canadian songwriters. It’s all good, Toronto is amazing sofar (and I’m still jetlagged, can you imagine?

Annie M.G. Schmidt & Harry Bannink were two amazing Dutch songwriters. As a duo they challenged each other and wrote extraordinary songs (both composition and lyrics). Recently, some ‘new’ artists recorded a fine selection of the songs (Eefje de Visser, Gerard van Maasakkers, Roos Rebergen and me!). I’m proud of my version of ‘Kleine zwakke vrouw’. The album ‘Supersonische boem’ is out now.

Hey you! Thank you for a beautiful year. For exciting nights in charming theaters. Our DVD ‘Here comes the night’ is a precious reminder of our adventures. And I’m so happy we could share this with many people. Now it’s time for the new….the unknown……I’m excited about a new year and new melodies, new songs. I’ll keep you posted here. But not too much, ’cause I’m working ![]()
